Cafe Rahyo in Pyeongtaek

Cafe Rahyo in Pyeongtaek

One of my favorite hobbies since arriving in Korea has been exploring the endless list of aesthetic cafes. Cafe culture is huge in Korea and many of the cafes have extravagant themes and go above and beyond to entice people to visit. Typically you can expect to pay a little more visiting these cafes since they need to cover their expenses of maintaining their location, however the coffee and desserts are always well worth it (and make for great instagram pictures!).

I’ve started visiting a new cafe every week and wanted to share my finds in a cafe review series for the blog.

This week I visited Rahyo Rooftop Cafe in Pyeongtaek. This cafe is within walking distance to the SED near Osan AB.

Naver pin here.

4th floor

Hours: Noon-10pm; closed on Tues

Kid-friendly: Yes

Stroller Accessibile: Yes

Parking: Limited. You’ll need to find limited street parking for this cafe, or you can choose to park on base or in the SED and walk.

This was actually the very first aesthetic cafe I found on instagram when I started researching places to visit before we moved out here. The outside is very deceiving, it looks like a small business building across from a major apartment complex, but on the 4th floor you enter into a beautiful boho themed rooftop cafe with plenty of seating and picture spots. The coffee is amazing and they have a small selection of desserts to choose from such as cookies, brownies, and a waffle with ice cream to name a few.

Check their social media for updates here.

You can follow me on Instagram for more cool places in Korea and behind the scenes shots of each cafe here.

xoxo
